Description
This photograph was taken along the trail to the summit of Bald Mountain in Rangeley, Maine. The journey was a tough one with all the ice that was hidden under the snow on the trail. Water crosses over the trail in many locations and made this a very difficult hike. Fortunately, the beauty sort of took the sting out of the many falls that took place. For Christmas, my husband bought me ice grips for my hiking boots, what a concept!
