Description
I was extremely impressed by the size of the mountains and mountain ranges in Alaska. I took many photographs, but realized quickly, it was difficult to tell the magnitude of the mountains in the photographs. To give you an idea of how enormous this mountain actually is, look towards the green mountain on the right and you will see some black specks in the snow. If you click on the black specks to enlarge the area. You will realize those specs are actually people. If you notice, those people are almost as tall as the trees on the mountainside, which means they are not actually close to that mountain. Mount Blackburn is the snow-covered mountain in the back and is 30 miles away from those people. It is HUGE at 16,390 feet. I was in awe when I heard that from our tour guide.
