Description
While in Alaska, my husband and I took a floatplane from Anchorage to Lake Clark National Park and Preserve. We landed on Crescent Lake by Redoubt Mountain Lodge. This photograph was taken while standing by the lodge. As you can see, the view was amazing. To stay at Redoubt Lodge would be a dream come true for me. Maybe next visit.
Situated at the headwaters of Bristol Bay, Lake Clark National Park and Preserve is an epitome of the Alaska wilderness landscape. At four million acres, the Park encompasses volcanoes, jagged mountains, glaciers, wild rivers, waterfalls and diverse Alaska wildlife populations. We will never forget our visit to one of America’s most inaccessible national parks!

So wonderfully incredibly beautiful. I am dreaming about a 3 month trip to Alaska. Drive up the east side of the Rockies for a month, stay up in alaska for a month, then driving down the west side of the Rockies for a month. Sound amazing???
