This photograph was taken on my way home from Marshall Point Lighthouse. I stopped along the roadway because I just could not drive through without stopping and snapping a few pictures. The locals did not seem to mind.

I am from a very small town in Central Maine. I have been married for over 32 years and have four grown children and four grandchildren. While I love photography, I do not have a lot of time to enjoy it. I work full-time and help with daycare for two of my grandchildren. When I have time, I take full advantage and I am usually gone for an entire day between travel and the photography. For many years, I kayaked in the same three ponds in Litchfield, Maine. About three years ago, I started to get bored. I wanted more.
