Recently, my husband and I took a trip to Wyoming to visit the Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. On one of the last days of our trip, we were able to witness this sunset over the Grand Teton Mountain Range. What a sight to behold, especially when I am told that a sunset of this caliber is rare.
Grand Teton National Park is in the northwest of the U.S state of Wyoming. It encompasses the Teton mountain range, the 4,000-meter Grand Teton peak, and the valley known as Jackson Hole. It’s a popular destination in summer for mountaineering, hiking, backcountry camping and fishing, linked to nearby Yellowstone National Park.

I am from a very small town in Central Maine. I have been married for over 32 years and have four grown children and four grandchildren. While I love photography, I do not have a lot of time to enjoy it. I work full-time and help with daycare for two of my grandchildren. When I have time, I take full advantage and I am usually gone for an entire day between travel and the photography. For many years, I kayaked in the same three ponds in Litchfield, Maine.
