I took this photograph of the Stairway Icefall while in Kennicott Alaska, after my stay at the Kennicott Glacier lodge. My husband and I flew out of the area on a small plane an I took this photograph out the rear window. We left on a very cloudy day, so I decided to enhance this image with some color, and added the sunrise look into the sky of the photograph.

I am from a very small town in Central Maine. I have been married for over 32 years and have four grown children and four grandchildren. While I love photography, I do not have a lot of time to enjoy it. I work full-time and help with daycare for two of my grandchildren. When I have time, I take full advantage and I am usually gone for an entire day between travel and the photography. For many years, I kayaked in the same three ponds in Litchfield, Maine.
