I have lived in Maine my entire life. Unfortunately, I had never heard of the Vaughan Woods. I happened upon photographs on Fine Art America and decided I had to visit. I have visited twice in the last month. I was there a couple of weeks ago, but the landscape certainly has changed in the last two weeks. It was gorgeous with all the fall colors.

I am from a very small town in Central Maine. I have been married for over 32 years and have four grown children and four grandchildren. While I love photography, I do not have a lot of time to enjoy it. I work full-time and help with daycare for two of my grandchildren. When I have time, I take full advantage and I am usually gone for an entire day between travel and the photography. For many years, I kayaked in the same three ponds in Litchfield, Maine.
